Saving Our Society
Second Opinion Services has been dedicated to offering a “second opinion” in matters of Constitutional law for those caught up in the federal court system. Senior consultant, Lonnie Schmidt, has found himself caught up in the federal system because he provided business services to defendants in the federal case (3:02-CV-0605-R) which is the basis of this web site. Mr. Schmidt has been incarcerated since July 7, 2005 and remains so today, July 7, 2006, one year later, because he was ordered to turn over monies paid to him for these business services via a petition to the United States District Court, Northern Texas, Dallas Division by the Receiver, Lawrence J. Warfield. A petition to the court denies Mr. Schmidt any way to defend the fact these monies, received over one year prior to the filing of Case No. 3:02-CV-0605-R, are not “receivership assets”.
Second Opinion Services has been working to get the word out to media groups about the corruption in the federal court system. Press releases are listed to the right by date they were released. Also listed are letters written by Mr. Schmidt in an attempt to gain his freedom from unlawful incarceration as well as many of the court documents he has filed. The Bryan Ashlock case is also one to be explored because it is another example of abuse by a federal judge.
Many of you arriving at this page have been directed by communication through a letter, a press release or a referral from someone else. Most of the documentation on this page relates to Lonnie Schmidt’s current illegal incarceration and the attempts he has made to be released. However while Mr. Schmidt has been incarcerated he, along with others, have spent many hours researching statutes, codes, cases and history and have discovered the federal court system is very flawed as to the way it operates today. Most of this research has been put into either articles or letters and can be found on the FedBuster page along with form letters with instructions which you or others are free to use.
